June weekend with friends

We spent the last weekend with friends at Bear Lake. We first meet at Firehouse Pizza in Logan. From there we drove to the Pickleville Playhouse at Bear Lake. We planned this gathering to see "Juanto Bandito Rides Again". We love this character. He is so funny and comes up with some pretty good one liners during the show. After the play we went to Mike and Gayle Dalpias' cabin which was about an hour drive southwest of the playhouse. When we arrived at about midnight Gayle noticed that the hummingbird feeder was broken and the porch light twisted. The she noticed a hole in the screen door. After further investigation we noticed that where the hole was was the indentation of a five claw paw. Could it really be a bear claw that went through the door? The next morning they found that the camera that looks at the front door had been disconnected so who was the mystery guest? They had another camera at a water hole a 1/4 mile away. The intruder was found; a brown bear and it had visited the water hole twice during the day we arrived at the cabin. The next morning we made breakfast. There were three other couples with us that morning; the Lovelands, Smiths, and Dalpias. After breakfast we went four wheeling. It was pretty dry so we used surgical masks as Kenny is modeling to keep the dust out of our mouthes.
We then rode to Bug Lake to meet the rest of our group; the Crowthers and Brooks who had cabins down by the lake.

Once we were altogether we headed for routes unknown. We came to a place called the hippie bus. People used to live in the bus. It was by a nice cool stream which made it an enjoyable stop.
It was then back to the cabin to have lunch and a dutch oven peach cobbler that was cooking while we were gone. It was good to be with friends and share memories.

I had to take this picture of Cindy's war wounds. The dust was from the ride, the scrap was from her falling backwards into a hole and her arm going down the trunk of the tree.

When it was finally time to leave we went down to Randolph and came across these Pronghorns in a field.
