Maddie turns 20

Our baby turned 20 and we no longer have any teenagers. Where has the time gone? She wanted to go to her favorite restaurant, Wingers, for a family dinner. We had decided we would all meet at the Wingers on Harrison because the North Ogden one was closed. Nic got there first and then we pulled up a little later. The Harrison one was also closed. Now we had to get on the phone and co-ordinate a new place to go because Shannon and the kids and Maddie were on the road. She thought of Buffalo Wild Wings but when the first group got there it was so packed they could not give a time frame when we could even get in because it was the BCS championship game on T.V. We ended up at Applebees and had a great dinner.

Afterwards we went back home and had cake and ice cream.

New Years Eve

The end of the 2012 has come and gone. We had the annual New Years Eve party at our house and this year had a few more guests, even though some of the regulars like Carlin and Greg were not here.Bob's family came though because they could not make it to the Christmas eve party because of bad weather in Salt Lake.  It is always fun to get together and eat and play games and eat and play games. And did I mention eat. As the new year approaches we watch the count down on T.V. and then blow the noise makers, have some sparkling cider and go outside and light fireworks.

New Years day brings the close of the holiday season and it is the time to take the Christmas tree down. We had such a wonderful, large tree this year.
