August 7th was the big 60 for a special person in my life. I wanted to do something to surprise her for the day but others were planning a luncheon that I found out a bout and I had to let her know that was not possible because I was going to take her to Bear Lake that day. So while it was not a complete surprise it still was a fun day. We rented paddle board and thought we would try that. Everyone makes it look so easy. We ended up doing them as kneel boards or straddle boards. We then rented a waive runner which was much easier and drove all over the lake.
The lake was as high as it could be so there was little or no beach and up next to the road on the southwest side.
We also noticed a large lump , the second knee on Cindy's good leg which she must of got when she fell of the paddle board. It didn't hurt her at the time but was very large.
We then had shakes, went to Logan had dinner, and home for cake for a very enjoyable day.
