The other day I went out in the yard in the morning and found a young Kestrel. We have had a couple of Kestrels in our trees all spring long but this was not an adult. It was a small one learning to fly. It only took it a couple of days and it was up in the trees.
On Father's Day I received a lot of great gifts which I am grateful for but we got Skype and were able to do a screen chat with Maddie. It was great to have the whole family around so that they could see and talk to her in Alaska and she could see them.
