The name of the concert was the Happy Together and it was a collection of several top singers of the 60's. As you can imagine they are a little older now as well as the group that came together that night to listen to them. The singers were in their 60's and early 70's just like most of the audience but it was sure fun.
First it was Gary Lewis of Gary Lewis and the Playboys. Top song -This Diamond Ring. Other claim to fame- His dad was comedian Jerry Lewis.
Next up was Mark Lindsey of Paul Revere and the Raiders. Top songs- Kicks, Cherokee Nation
He was followed by Gary Puckett of Gary Puckett and the Union Gap. Top Songs- Woman, Young Girl
Next was Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night.. Top songs- Eli's Coming, Joy to the World, etc
The last act was "Flo and Eddie" of the Turtles- Top Songs Happy Together, Elenor
After two and a half hours of rockers.... oh wait that was rock and roll, the show came to an end. It was great and the kids weren't around to say "Dad change the channel". Oh to be back in the 60's. Wait two more years and I will be in the 60's!
