High School graduation

May 23, 2011 was Maddie's high school graduation held at the Dee Events center. There were 497 graduates this year. She has had a good group of friends throughout her years at Fremont and with all her activities and work has done a great job. This last quarter she finished with a 3.93 average which ended up placing her high school grade point at 3.83.

Throughout her junior and high school years she had her cousins with her and the same was true for graduation.

We watched as Maddie walked up to the stand and received her diploma. What a great day. It also means there are no more parent teachers conferences, lunch money and other things that go with high school. Of course there will be college fees, money for this and that. Oh well it's worth it.

 After the graduation and the rain that fell as they were outside turning in their gowns we decided to all go to the Olive Garden to eat. So did a lot of others as we waited an hour and a half before we got our group seated and then we had the place to ourselves.
